Last light on Weavers Needle during sunset in the Superstition Mountains in Arizona. This was as far as I made it on my at least 12 mile hike (roundtrip) on the Dutchman Trail. On the way to this spot, I saw a 3 foot coachwhip snake in a perfect spot to bite. He was hiding just off the trail, behind a bush with his head up, and I have no idea how I saw him, but thank god I did. On the way back, the full moon still hadn't come up, and my flash light died with a mile or two left. Nothing like walking in complete darkness knowing there's all kinds of stuff out there. What also made it more fun was having a twisted ankle from a couple days before, and then rolling it a few times once my flash light died. I got this photo, which i'm pretty happy with, so it made it worth while.
